Wow we definitely struck gold with Julie and Jonathan! They were very professional in confirming and organising the sit including meeting Alfie and visiting the house beforehand. Firstly they were amazing with Alfie, they genuinely cared for him, with long walks (whatever the weather!) and plenty of cuddles. He really seemed to be their priority the whole stay. They also had to take him to the vet which was very much appreciated. Additionally, after a week of solid rain they dealt with the subsequent ingress of water efficiently so we can’t thank them enough – such a relief when we were stuck in the other side of the world. Thank you both!

James and I could not be more ecstatic with our house sitters Julie and Jonathan. They were unbelievably brilliant looking after our little girl as if she was their own. They were both the kindest, most compassionate carers and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Remi fell in love with them straight away! With their calm presence, and enthusiasm to take her to all her favourite walking spots, she was so nurtured and we cannot thank them enough for the effort they put in to make her feel safe and happy while we were away. Not only did they go above and beyond for Remi they left our house in an immaculate condition. Words cannot express how thankful we are to them both and we would reach out to them for every house sit in the future.

Thank you Julie and Jonathan for your kindness towards Flash and Ninja and us by sending daily videos, photos and check-ins. It helped us relax while away knowing that Flash and Ninja were safe and well taken care of. Thank you for getting to know their little personalities and sharing that with me while we were away. That was so special and the video of Ninja enjoying his baby water bottle was so touching. You both accepted their quirky ways and I could see how relaxed Flash and Ninja were in all the videos I received. We came home to a spotless home with everything so clean and tidy and happy well cared for cats. We hope to have you both back again someday. Thanks again!

Julie and Jonathan were the perfect pet sitters for our cat and dog. From initial contact right through when we were away to our return home, we were blown away by their professionalism, responsiveness and friendliness. It was always very clear that the well-being of our pets and home was always top of mind. Communication was always responsive with plenty of updates and photos to remind us of home. They looked after the house as if it was their own, and even repaired the dishwasher when it played up. And of course they were brilliant with the pets. We were very confident having Julie and Jonathan looking after them when we were away and so were able to focus on having a good time. Based on this we have no hesitation in recommending Julie and Jonathan as pet sitters and would definitely use them again ourselves.

The best sitters we have ever had!! our dog had an absolute blast with then while we were gone for the month, with multiple adventures a day, many beach walks, and endless cuddles and attention. They really put in the effort to ensure our dog had a holiday and was very well loved. Our dog probably completely forgot we exisited! We were sent many photos/videos and updates while we were gone which we really appreciated. House was immaculate when we came home and my plaats were in better condition then we left them. To top it off, Julie and Jonathan were great company and we really enjoyed hanging out with them the night we arrived and the day we got back, they even cooked us dinner!! cannot reccomend enough!

We truly cannot say enough about our first experience with House Sitters! We were so lucky, and so very grateful, to have Julie & Jonathan looking after our home and three cats. The cats got so much love & attention, I’m sure they loved their own ‘cat staycation’ almost as much as we enjoyed our relaxing break away! We loved the photos & videos, which clearly showed they were not missing us at all lol. We came home to a spotless house, no washing to do at all and even a beautiful cake freshly baked. Julie & Jonathan are very experienced, professional & caring house sitters, who really go the extra mile! Such a lovely couple, who showed us such care & respect = very happy holiday makers & cats. Julie and Jonathan were very professional and organised from start to finish. Once we accepted them for our house sit they were great at communicating and meet with us before hand which was reassuring for us with it being the first time we used trusted house sitters. Our dog Archie had a great time with them. They certainly made him a priority which he would have lapped up being a very social dog!!! They did special trips to the beach with him and also lots of lovely park walks. The communication while we were away was great. Lovely to see how happy he was with the photos and videos they sent us. We arrived home to a very tidy house and happy dog! We wouldn’t hesitate to use Julie and Jonathan again.

We were so lucky to have Julie and Jonathon come again to look after Olly – who I think is still missing them! Olly was exceptionally well cared for and loved in our absence, with plenty of updates and special trips to the dog beach. Our apartment was spotless on our return. We hope to have them back when they next visit Australia 🙂 thank you again!

No surprises here – J & J were exceptional as all their other reviews promised. We met up beforehand and it was obvious they would provide Olly with the perfect care while we were away. We returned to a VERY happy boy – he had been out to all his favourite places & was even a little sad once they left. Little does he know we are lucky to have them back in a few weeks 😉 Our apartment was immaculate and just like we left it. We are using J & J again in a few weeks and would love to after this if they are ever back in Sydney. Thank you!

Julie and Jonathon were next level! So much so, I think Martini bunny misses them more than he did me. They are very responsive and prompt, organised and caring. They took care to meet Martini and myself before we left for a full pet and home debrief and even popped over before I left to transition Martini over for their 3 week sit. I felt very happy on holiday overseas knowing my pet and home were in capable and loving hands. I also came home to a super clean home, happy plants and a very relaxed, well cared for bunny. I highly recommend Julie and Jonathon and would welcome them back in a heart beat.

We truly cannot find the words to describe our admiration & appreciation for Julie & Jonathan, they are absolutely incredible pet & house sitters & people in general. They have such a kindness & gentleness about them & if we had our choice we would genuinely have them sit for us at every opportunity possible. This was the THIRD time we have asked them to sit for us & just like the other sits they were phenomenal. Their main priority during their stay is giving our pets wonderful love, care & undying attention. They cared for our precious outdoor cat, Pumpernickel ( who is a stray that we started feeding & built a warm hutch for her to stay in), our lovely three hens, Birdie, Popcorn & Pikachu & our beautiful baby- our one year old Weimaraner puppy, Martha. We received lovely detailed updates with photos & videos daily along with very speedy replies whenever we messaged to check in & kept updated on their Instagram page as well, as they asked permission if they could share posts about our pets on their account. Our sweet little Martha has some anxiety & they were beyond doting & loving with her, they also very keenly & diligently continued her very precise training as she is currently in the process of becoming our four year old daughter’s service dog. Julie & Jonathan jumped at the opportunity to even have Martha’s (reward based) trainer come round for a lesson while we were away as they are both so interested in learning as much as possible about animals & ways they can grow as individuals & utterly devoted pet lovers. Martha’s trainer also LOVED them & has been recommending them to her clients, family & friends, which is saying something as she is VERY particular when it comes to the care & welfare of animals. Julie & Jonathan are also incredibly sweet with our three young children & shared all the ways they planned to care for our pets while we were away to help put their little minds at ease. The day before J&J arrived Martha had an allergic reaction to something and needed prescription cream from the vet to apply to be applied her paws which J&J did with such care & patience & Martha’s skin irritation cleared up beautifully. Our home was immaculate when we returned as it always is when they sit for us, all of our pets were healthy & happy & sad to see them go as were we as we just feel such a warm connection to them both. We hope VERY much that we will have the privilege of having J&J come & sit for us again or even just pop by for a visit if they are in our area! They truly are the most delightful people & it it brings us such joy & peace to know that our pets have experienced their love & dedication! We really cannot praise & recommendJ&J enough & would give them all the stars in the galaxy if it were an option on here… but We guess a five star rating will have to do. Julie and Jonathan are just amazing house and pet sitters! When they applied to sit for us, we read the reviews on their profile and realised we had struck gold and were very quick to accept their application. There is probably little else we can add to all the reviews they have, but we will try. First and foremost, they are a lovely couple who are so easy to get on with who clearly love to take care of the pets and homes they are entrusted with. They met us a few weeks before the sit to familiarise themselves with Duke, Charlie and the house and it was clear we would have nothing to worry about. While we were away, Julie and Jonathan shared regular messages, photos and videos with us. It was obvious the boys were having a fantastic time. Julie and Jonathan took them to the North Norfolk coast on one of the days which Duke and Charlie adored. This was great for us, as it allowed us to enjoy our holiday knowing that our boys were in the best of hands. On our return, the house was spotless and we had a lovely chat, sharing experiences of our holiday and hearing all the things Julie, Jonathan, Duke and Charlie got up to! We hope we will be lucky enough for Julie and Jonathan to look after Duke and Charlie again when we’re away in the future – they are fantastic.

It’s hard to know where to start to describe how utterly delighted and blessed we feel to have had Julie and Jonathan looking after our Labradoodle Teddy this past month. This was our first time using sitters in our home and we genuinely feel we struck gold. Communication was wonderful from the start and throughout our holiday. Teddy had just the best time going to places we have never taken her before, and experiencing so many new things, including new beaches, woods and the scary bridge – it was wonderful to see Teddy on so many adventures. They are such a lovely, kind, responsible couple and talked us through everything they needed from us before we left and sent us regular updates. If all that wasn’t enough, we were greeted on our return by a spotlessly clean house and a beautiful blackberry crumble and cream – seriously, how perfect can it get? Teddy is already missing Julie and Jonathan and we suspect our only difficulty will be getting them back again as they are so popular and any animal and family will be very lucky to have this couple in their home! Fingers crossed we can, one day, have them return to look after our pup

Yet another fantastic experience with Julie and Jonathan! They looked after all our animals with so much love and care. The whippets couldn’t have been happier, Patsy the horse and piggy loved getting pampered and the guineas and ducks were super chilled too. The blacksmith came for Patsy and they dealt with that too. They also kept in regular contact and sent sweet photos and videos of all the animals. Our house was lovely and clean and tidy when we got home and bedding and towels washed and hanging to dry. We were new to Trusted Housesitters and we chose Julie & Jonathan because their profile and previous experience suggested that they would ideal for first timers like us. Our intuition proved 100% correct. They arrived bang-on-time having fully liaised with us as to all the intricacies (not many) of the sit. It was clear from the off that they would be most capable looking after our Dogue de Bordeaux and elderly rescue cat. After their first overnight stay, we left them without reservation for our holiday. For our absence, they asked us how much correspondence we wanted and it was minimal but reassuring as requested. They had no difficulties in sitting and we were wholly confident on our return that all would be well. Julie and Jonathan also took the dog to the vets for us for a scheduled vaccination. On coming home, we found the pets in the best of form having had a holiday themselves and clearly adored their sitters. Also, the house, which clean and tidy when we left, was even in better shape on our return! Their approach and attitude was wholly professional yet appropriately friendly. In summary, we could have not have expected a better first pet-sitting experience with Julie and Jonathan and would wholly commend them to any other pet owners new, or old, to Trusted Housesitters.
