What an amazing couple. I knew as soon as I read there other reviews that they were for us. They have put such a huge amount of there time into developing into the great sitters that they are. They were very relaxed and caring from the moment they met ‘the boys’. We left them confident that they understood our needs. In the changing situation that came with the Coronavirus, they managed the dogs and the hand over professionally. If you looking for a couple who take house sitting to another level, these are your people. Thank you

Julie and Jonathan were wonderful! My 70 lb German shepard/pit mix, Kai, has behavioral issues when it comes to trusting others to take off his collar and is generally anxious with sitters. Julie and Jonathan were great with handling my dog’s anxiety, treating him with patience and love. They sent me plenty of photos to help keep me at ease (which I really appreciated). Kai warmed up to them quickly and was spoiled with lots of beach walks and cuddles 🙂 I also was very pleased to come home to a super clean apartment! I would 100% invite them back again and would recommend to anyone!

Julie & Jon were some of the best pet/house sitters we have ever had! We live on a 1-acre property in the country with 3 chickens and an elderly cat. It was December and there were very cold rainstorms during that time. Thus there were many different factors for them to navigate; which they did splendidly. Our elderly cat is blind in one eye, has hearing issues, and needs medicines 3 times per day in her food. She also needs a lot of attention so she doesn’t get scared or lonely in her senile state. Julie & Jon gave her lots of love, made sure she ate her medicinal meals and catered to her special needs. Our chickens are allowed to roam the property during the day but they can wander off if not watched. Also, our property backs up to a large forest so there are many predators. Julie & Jon let them out for supervised romps, feed them treats, and treated them with love & respect. On cold nights they made sure the coop heater was on. Even though we didn’t ask them, the feed & water bowls were filled during our vacation. The house and the animals were in impeccable shape when we arrived home! Including our wood-burning stove in the house. Do you know how you can just tell when someone has taken care of your ‘stuff’ while you were away? Well, that was the feeling when we arrived home. We were so impressed with all the care they gave to our home and our ‘babies’. The house was clean and well cared for. Things were placed in their appropriate places. It felt great to walk back into that environment! We also really appreciated their clear and respectful communication. They didn’t overburden us but were also available and made sure we had information. Periodic updates were sent to us during our time away, with fun videos and pictures. We couldn’t have asked for better sitters! We met Julie & Jon the night before we left for our week-long vacation. They are very warm people. We enjoyed them greatly and have stayed in touch about their further travels. We can’t recommend them enough for any home or pet sitting needs you may have!

As with the other homeowners on this site who had the good fortune to have Julie and Jonathan housesit for them, I cannot say enough good things about the experience. They are lovely, warm-hearted and unfailingly reliable. They won the heart of our shy and separation anxiety-ridden dog, Julian – so much so that he wasn’t even that excited to see us when we returned! They also communicated often with us while we were away, sending us photos and videos of Julian. When we returned, our house was tidier than it was when we left. What more is there to say? With all their exceptional reviews, Julie and Jonathan are highly in demand so you will be very fortunate if you can have them housesit for you. Thank you again, Julie and Jonathan!!

Julie and Jonathan were amazing house/pet sitters. We were gone for 10 days. They took great care of Mookie and our house and sent us a lot of pictures, which was awesome! They went on long walks and took Mookie to the beach often. They were very responsive and super independent. We also got the chance to get dinner with them and they are super nice people! I wish we had more time with them. I hope they stop by San Francisco again in the future!

These are just Brilliant sitters, I’d give them 10 stars if I could. They are my first choice every time, sad now guys that you’re going to be unable to sit for me in the next few months. What an amazing, professional, talented couple, they kept me informed of my pets activities, sent me videos and photos of them. They looked after them all so well. I can not recommend them enough.. The house was immaculate and they had even made me supper when I returned home. Thank you both so much you made it so easy for me to leave my pets with you . I would give you six stars out of five if I could!

What a pleasure to have Julie and Jonathan looking after our home and our cheeky cockerpoo Kip. They spoilt him as if he was their own and kept us updated daily. Our house was spotless on our return and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Julie and Jonathan have just house and dog sat for us for two whole weeks. Our two dogs absolutely love them being here and are quite depressed that we (their boring owners) have returned. This is the second sit that this lovely pair have done for us and we must say that not only do they look after our beloved dogs but they tend to our garden and home with the upmost respect. We received regular updates including photos which made are hearts melt. Julie even made us a beautiful curry on our return and the bedding and towels were all washed and dried. What a luxury to know that whilst your away from home that the equivalent of Mary Poppins and Dr Dolittle (that’s you Jonathan!) are overseeing your pets and your empire. Thank you sooooooo much to both of you x x

This was the first sit we’d had with trusted house sitters so we didn’t know what to expect. When Julie and Jonathan asked to sit for us, looking at their reviews and photos, I immediately felt comfortable with them and couldn’t believe our luck. After a chat on the phone with Julie I looked forward to going on holiday instead of the worry I usually felt. They arrived on time and I felt I’d known them for ages. Rupert walked up to them and then went and laid down, he was comfortable with them straight away. Julie sent loads of pictures of Rupert during the holiday and he was really having a great time. On returning the house was immaculate, even the hob on the cooker was shiny (I can never get it to look that good)!! The bedding had been washed and Rupert looked so well and happy. I can’t thank them enough for the peace of mind they have given us so we could really enjoy our holiday. A truly amazing couple who I hope can sit for us again in the future.

We feel so incredibly lucky to have had Julie and Jonathan as our pet sitters! Our two dogs and cat have been cared for so well. Julie even sent us lovely photos of the pets whilst we were away. Our collie x whippet is a nervous dog but she was so well-looked after, and both dogs have been visibly missing Julie and Jonathan since we came home! We returned to an immaculate house, Julie had even laundered the bedding for me. Cannot recommend highly enough, such thoughtful and kind people.

We discovered this lovely couple through Trustedhousesitters.com and having read their profile, invited them to house sit for us and our rescue Saluki cross, Harry. They were pleased to accept and, despite us never having had either house sitters, or ones that would look after our hound, we felt confident with them even well before the sit. We have been absolutely delighted, the house was cleaner than we left it (thank you both so much) Harry just had a fabulous time, beach walks, his normal route, sleeping (a hobby of the Saluki, it seems) and cheekily being allowed to sofa surf elsewhere ! So pleased with Jonathan and Julie. We know it might sound cheesy, but cannot recommend them highly enough – not just excellent house sitters but their empathy and kindness with Harry and care of him relieved us of any worry (totally unfounded!) we may have had. In summary – excellent, very happy to ask (if available!) again
