If we could give Julie and Jonathan 6* we definitely would! They looked after our Old English Sheepdog, Dylan, and our house, the best possible way. Dylan is nearly 40kgs of happiness, affection and enthusiasm. He is used to long walks and a lot of attention. Julie and Jonathan gave him all of that, and looked after him in the best possible way. In fact, he had a couple of days after we returned when he kept looking for them. He obviously missed his holiday “parents”. Julie and Jonathan seemed to settle in straight away, and Dylan took to them immediately. The communication whilst we were away was great, and we had lovely photos and videos. We were 100% confident our boy was well looked after and happy. Upon return Julie and Jonathan had even done a little grocery shop for us, bought flowers and a card and washed and ironed bedding: the house immaculate. Thank you so, so much! We would love to welcome you back to Lyme Regis in the future.

Wow, where to start! We can’t thank Julie and Jonathan enough. They were fantastic house sitters and looked after our babies amazingly well. We have a St Bernard and a Labrador and Saints can take a lot of work cleaning up after them but Julie and Jon took this in their stride. They groomed them and took them on their favourite walks. The dogs are actually sad to see them leave. We came home to a lovely clean and tidy home and Jon had even cut the grass for us! They went above and beyond caring for our pets(including Luna, the not so friendly rabbit) they updated us with lovely pictures and videos and made us feel so reassured that we’d left our home and pets in good hands. We can’t wait to invite them back again. We would very highly recommend Julie and Jon for any sit. Any home and pet owner would be lucky to have them

What a fantastic experience. Julie and Jonathan were exceptional house sitters from the moment they arrived and we’d have them back again in a flash. They were wonderfully gentle and caring of our two Miniature Dachshunds and Cockerpoo and took on board their daily routine with a passion for the week. We were sent some brilliant photo updates and felt relaxed and confident leaving our dogs whilst we enjoyed our holiday. We came home to a serene tidy house and happy dogs, and it was lovely to share tales of our canine rascals with Julie and Jonathan on our return. We can’t recommend them enough.

This was the first time we have used Aussie Housesitters and we were very lucky to find Julie and Jonathan . They cared for our house, our pets (dog, cat and fish) with so much care and love. They left the house absolutely immaculate…. it looked like it had been professionally cleaned!! Our dog looked very clean and happy too! Our communication was fantastic before they arrived here and this meant that we could relax on holidays knowing that our pets and house were in very very good care. Julie and Jonathan were both very kind and they showed so much love and attention to our pets. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a house sitter.

Julie & Jon were absolutely incredible and beyond anything I thought I would find! They were very professional, made everything easy, they were efficient in responding and most importantly they showed so much love and kindness towards Willow & Blue. When meeting, the doggos loved Julie & Jon so I knew they were true dog people and just special humans. While we were away, I was able to fully relax knowing they were taken care of better than I could ever imagine. We got little updates, photos & videos along the way which I loved! Willow & Blue had a blast, they kept to their routine of daily walks, feeding, some training and most importantly plenty of cuddles and attention. They also made sure our home was clean & tidy when we got home. I cannot recommend Julie & Jon more highly.

6 week sit! Julie and Jonathan were amazing house sitters and carers for our 2 year old Cavoodle. They kept us updated with videos and pictures and even had a CNN article written about their house sitting whilst we were away! Charcoal was a happy and well groomed boy when we got back. He misses his adopted parents and I’m sure we’ll be asking Julie and Jonathan to return when we next travel. Thank you both! You were great.

Julie and Jonathan are wonderful! We knew that from the moment we met them, that all are animals would be happy and well looked after. We went away without a worry in the world and can’t wait to have them back! We have 2 whippets, a horse, a pig and 4 guinea fowl – all so happy on our return. We have been very lucky to have Julie and Jonathan sit for us 3 times. Our greyhound adores them and they were happy to sit for our new addition a couple of weeks ago. They are an amazing couple and find it so easy to to connect with any animal they meet. The house is always looked after and spotless on our return, the animals are happy and healthy. During our holidays we are sent pictures of our pets having such a good time giving us total piece of mind. Julie and Jonathan are very reliable, professional and every time we secure them for a sit, we can immediately look forward to our holiday. We feel so comfortable and relaxed knowing they are looking after everything back home. They are the sort of people you can warm to straight away. Anyone who secures a sit with them should feel so lucky and we hope in the future we will get to catch up with them again.

Julie and Jonathan are AMAZING! I cannot recommend them highly enough. They were so caring and looked after Mabel’s every need. They took her on wonderful walks, threw her ball (endlessly!), took her everywhere they went and cuddled her on the sofa, just as we would have done. Mabel absolutely adored them and tried to climb into their car when they left! As for the house and garden, it looked immaculate when we got home – far tidier and cleaner than when we left! They were happy to water our plants and veg patch and mow the lawn. Nothing was too much trouble. They are so professional and their communication, both before the sit and during it, was fantastic. They send updates on Mabel every day and it made our holiday stress-free, to see our beautiful dog so loved. We feel we’ve made new friends and hope to keep in touch with them.

What can I say ,they were everything you wanted for a house sitter and more! House lovely and clean and milk kindly in fridge for my return. The animals absolutely adored them. I enjoyed seeing them having great adventures out with Benny exploring the area. Will definitely have them back any time.

Julie and Jonathon are the most kind and compassionate people we know! This was their second sit with our dog, chickens and stray cat, and as always they kept us up to date, and looked after them all, and the house, wonderfully. They were also able to extend their stay from 3 weeks to nearly 10 when we became stranded overseas due to Covid-19, and when we returned the house was spotless, and the animals incredibly happy. We also were delayed on our return, and they were able to accommodate us, so we could do a handover when we returned. Since the first sit, we have become great friends with them, and they are always a pleasure to have dinner with before we leave. We would love to have the opportunity for them to come and stay again, and they really should be your first choice when looking for someone to love your pets whilst you are away!

These guys are the best ever! They have now house sat for me on repeat and my little 9 yr old terrier, Gemma, adores them. They go over the top, every time, caring for Gemma and my home. I always return to it looking better than I left it. Everything clean, laundry all ready and kind enough to leave me basics in the fridge when I return late. They send me whatsapp photos of a very happy spoiled Gemma, they take her everywhere but I know they relax at home a lot with her too. They have cared for Gemma when she became poorly on a previous sit, they dealt with it very professionally, trips to the Vets, administering the daily injection, reassuring me with relaxed photos of Gemma and it was all a happy recovery for her. Gemma always circles their bedroom looking for them for at least the next few mornings after their departure. She misses all the attention they give her, I can tell. Communications with Julie and Jonathan are always excellent, they respond very quickly and always adapt when they can to my last minute changes sometimes. Nothing is too much trouble for them if they can fix it. They are a kind, organised and trustworthy couple who love all animals and I’m pleased to say they love my Gemma. I have said it before, if you get the chance to have Julie and Jonathan sit for you jump at the opportunity, I can’t review them highly enough and recommend them without hesitation. Julie and Jonathan are the best dog sitters and housekeepers one may hope to have. They have treated our home as of it was their own, leaving it perfectly clean and tidy and in impeccable order. They have also given to our Mabel all the love in the world. They have paid a lot of attention to her habits and have reproduced exactly our homely interactions with her on a daily basis, so that she felt as if little had changed with respect to her life with us. Additionally, they have taken Mabel with them in her journeys around Angus and Fife and had good fun with her. We were regularly updated with news, pictures, and nice little stories. We recommend Julie and Jonathan unconditionally; they did an amazing job!

I was so pleased that Julie and Jonathan could look after my Greyhound Roops again. As soon as they had accepted the sit I was relieved and could start looking forward to my holiday. Roops was so happy and comfortable, Julie sent plenty of photos and videos of him playing and accepting loads of fuss from both of them. I hope I will be able to book them next year too for future holidays and I’m sure Roops will too. I would recommend them to anyone as they have such a varied history of sits and love their cuddles with any animal.
