Julie and Jonathan were absolutely wonderful. It was our first experience with house sitters and they made it such a positive experience from start to finish. They are experienced sitters with excellent reviews and wanted to make sure our first experience was good. We felt like we’d made the right decision from the moment we met them. A lovely warm and friendly couple. We could tell they would take great care of Hector our red fox labrador and we weren’t disappointed. They sent us almost daily updates and photos. If we had wanted a total break that would have been fine too. Hector had a beautiful holiday of his own whilst we were away. They took him on lovely long walks every day. He went everywhere with them. He’s only 10 months old and wasn’t great on lead. They did lots of lead training with him. He’s much better at walking to heel now. They even made our bed for us as we were arriving home at 2am and they only left Hector at about 7pm as they had a 3 hour drive home. I honestly feel as though they are part of the family now and miss the daily contact. They looked after Hector as if he was their own dog and I would love to have them sit again. Thank you so much

Julie and Jonathan are just awesome and I’ll not use anyone else as long as they are available, that’s how highly I rate them. My little dog Gemma just loves them and can’t wait for the next time I head off so she can spend some more time with them. If you get a chance to book them don’t hesitate, they are the kindest of people, so well organised and experienced petsitters.

My gosh – how do we even begin to describe how wonderful Julie and Jonny are? They looked after our home, 2 dogs and 3 rather broody chickens for two weeks whilst we went and got married and we will never be able to thank them enough for everything they did. Not only did they take the dogs on all sorts of outings and adventures but they kept the house immaculate, lawn beautifully mown, chickens happy and even found time to send us lots of updates and photos. What’s more, on the morning of our wedding we got through a pic of the two dogs with a happy wedding day sign they had made! The only downside has been that we now have two very sulky dogs on our hands – clearly preferring life with Julie and Jonny. We can’t really blame them – we haven’t met two such kind, friendly, caring and helpful people in a while. If you are lucky enough to have them apply for to house sit for you, don’t hesitate to accept.

Five stars all the way for Julie and Jonathan. It was their first sit (2 dogs and a cat), when we read their profile we accepted their application straight away. They were everything we had hoped, caring, communicative and reliable. During our holiday there was a problem at home with water coming through the ceiling, they had informed us after they had located the leak in the roof and put something there to capture remaining water. This was great knowing there was a temporary solution in place, until our return which stopped any panic we may have had. They were practical and helpful, giving us updates on the leak (super heavy rainfall). With regards to the animals what can I say except amazing, one of our dogs is not easy and they found a way to walk him and entertain him. Definitely over and above. The dogs adored them, we had regular updates and pictures, but Julie and Jonathan ensured the frequency of communication was dictated by us. Super tidy couple and I still think my house was cleaner on my return then when I left. I will be sending any future dates to Julie and Jonathan and just hope they have a slot available. Thank you both

This is the second sit that Julie and Jonathan have done for us and this one went as smoothly as the first. Lovely people that really care for your animals. Regular updates were sent and lots of lovely pictures of cuddles with the pets (the ones that let them cuddle anyway, the chickens werent that obliging). House spotlessly clean when we arrived home. We didnt get to see them before or after the sit this time but handover was smooth via email. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys for your sit. We go to them first everytime are are not always succesful 🙁 however we are delightly if we manage to grab some of their time. Our pets adore them. Thank you again Jonathan and Julie. xxx

Thrilled I was able to book Julie and Jonathan again. Just the best couple, so professional and accommodating. I had to leave very early in the morning and they really put themselves out to arrive prior to my departure, I’m so grateful for this. As always the cottage was lovely and clean on my return, bed linen and towels all washed. Thank you so much guys for looking after Gemma so well and going out of your way to make my business trips so stress free when it comes to leaving Gemma.

Once again this fabulous couple took exemplary care of my two fur babies and my home. They even stayed on quite late into the evening, beyond the agreed time as my cruise was delayed by over 8 hours!. I cannot recommend Julie & Jonathan enough and would eagely agree sits by them if they were available. If you could have ‘god-parents’ for pets then Julie & Jonathan would be my choice for Bella & Bertie. Thank you Julie & Jonathan for all that you do over and above what is required. x

Julie and Jonathan are gold star house sitters. They came to meet us beforehand as were in the area, which was a first and very enjoyable. They are wonderful friendly people, very efficient, attentive, caring and extremely clean and tidy. They and our dog became great pals and obviously the adoration was mutual. They played with, cuddled and brushed him daily and sent us beautiful photos of his happy state. Recommend these sitters very highly. Your animals and home will be in great hands. Julie and Jonathan would be welcome back as sitters anytime.

Once again Julie & Jonathan excelled in their excellent care of my precious fur babies. The best thing of all was that instead of feeling anxious before I travelled, I actually got to feel excited about going away and this is all down to Jonathan & Julie’s outstanding care of Bella & Bertie. My home was immaculate on my return as always and I truly feel that whoever is lucky enough to secure their services has won the lottery! I cannot heap enough praise on how Julie & Johnathan have looked after my cat “Tilly “ and my house for the last 5 weeks. Regular photos of Johnathan and Tilly were sent. Tilly’s brother died the week before we left so we were concerned how she would cope, however the love affair between Tilly and Johnathan was obvious. the only problem is Tilly now thinks we should cuddle her 24/7! The house was beautifully kept and Johnathan mowed the lawn. A wonderful meal was provided when got home which was appreciated after a long flight. They both made friends with the neighbours ,took in parcels and recorded phones no’s. from my answer machine to do with my business . I highly recommend this lovely couple. Your pets and home will be well looked after

Just brilliant! A couple of days before the start of the sit Gemma my little 8 year old Terrier was poorly with an infection and had been given medication that needed to be taken daily. I debated with cancelling my trip but after speaking with Jonathan and Julie, they reassured me that they were happy to take on the sit still which also meant a couple of trips to the vets for check ups. They went above and beyond what I would have expected, giving me regular updates on Gemma’s health, giving her medication as and when needed and giving her so much love and attention. Nothing was any trouble including the two trips to the vets for check ups. On my return Gemma had fully recovered and looked so happy. I couldn’t be more grateful, thank you so so much for everything. I just hope you are available for my next trip!

Julie and Jonathon were wonderful house sitters. Lulu loved them and they took her for some amazing walks. She was so happy that she really didn’t want them to go. My home was left immaculate and there were even fresh flowers to welcome me home. They took the trouble to send me messages and photos to show that Lulu was happy and safe.

I have recently returned from a weekends business conference entrusting my home and more importantly my two fur babies in the care of Julie & Jonathan. This was my first “sit”. I cannot heap enough praise on this couple, they have been everything and more that I could have wished for. They cared for my home in an exemplary manner in every respect and my two Cotons had grown so attached to them that on my return it was as if I had never been away. I will definitely be using Julie & Jonathan again in the future (infact already booked) and regard them as “friends” not just Sitters. They deserve 5 stars across the board with the highest of recommendation. I will be entering them into the TrustedHousesitters Annual Sitters Award. Thank you J&J from Maxine & B&B xxxx

I can’t recommend Julie and Jonathan highly enough. They took care of our Weimaraner for just over two weeks, and from before they came, they were incredibly considerate about when to turn up, going through our dog’s needs, and throughout our trip away sent us photos and videos of where they had taken him. When we returned they had left the house spotless, and although we had cleaned before they came, they must have done a deep clean while we were away because the house looked incredible. When they arrived on the first night we had a lovely evening with them, they are very good company and very easy to chat to. We would happily invite them to stay again, and have been in contact since they left. Our dog was sad to see them go, so they must have had a great time together, and he looked like he had toned up a little (which he needed to!). Couldn’t recommend them highly enough, Ben and Kate
